“Yng. Blk. Gftd.” is an international non-profit organization cultivated to empower the talented Black youth of the African diaspora.

YBG predominantly caters to all diverse, academically-gifted, athletic, and artistic kids who come from underprivileged backgrounds in Liberia, West Africa and Boston, MA.

We are dedicated to providing physiological needs, academic resources, creative workshops, mentorship, therapy, and a safe environment for not only young voices to be heard, but for their ideas and passions to be explored.

YBG Founder: Georgejet Kotee

After experiencing (and surviving) Charles Taylor’s brutal civil war in Liberia in the early 2000s with her mother, Georgejet Kotee moved back to Boston, MA with a plan for the future. Through perseverance, pride, and drive, she successfully completed her education, career in FinTech and entrepreneurship, furthering at Harvard University.

In 2022, Kotee launched YngBlkGftd to positively impact the disadvantaged youth of Liberia, West Africa and the Boston area.

Kotee first handedly knows how unfortunate circumstances out of our control can delay life progression in various areas around the world. YngBlkGftd serves as a humanitarian link to those who are affected by these life-altering circumstances. Every child deserves a chance at a peaceful life.
